These found animals have been taken in by Foothills Humane Society unless otherwise noted. All intakes are thoroughly scanned for a microchip upon entry to our facility and every attempt is made to contact the owner registered to the microchip.

Per our return to owner policy, upon a 72-hour hold in the shelter, NC state law provides that the animal becomes FHS property. If you believe one of these pets is yours, please call 828-863-4444.

Please note that due to the high volume of kitten intakes, kittens are not posted here.
